» About the 'Go Present' project

This project got its life from a long journey of webdevelopers getting tired of trying to figure out a way to bypass old browsers lack of present functions.

Imagine you have been working on something cool, like some ajax feature or something like that, and it blows everyones minds when you show it to them. Then imagine your boss comes and says, cool! you're sure it works in Internet Explorer 6?

The tears almost start dripping from your eyes and you feel like beating your monitor to pieces.

So why do we cry so much about this browser compatibility? the answer to that is pretty straight forward, imagine someone comes with a VCR and wants to watch a Blu-ray on it....

So, this project just tells the dude with the VCR that if he want to play his movie, he will have to upgrade his hardware to a Blu-ray player (in this case upgrade your browser to the latest version)

By simply adding one of the code kits, either PHP or ASP, to the top of your site, it will simply block users that has old browsers and tell them to update them, otherwise they won't be able to visit your site.
